Project Overview
JMR Marketplace is a custom-built e-commerce platform created for a traditional village market store in Lagos. The goal was simple: bring the experience of a local Nigerian market online — making it easy for customers to order everyday food items without visiting the physical store. The platform blends the simplicity of local trading with the convenience of modern online shopping.

Key Features

• Product Catalogue for Local Market Items: Users can browse and order items such as yam, plantain, palm oil, soups, ingredients, bottled water, and other everyday essentials.

• Cart & Checkout System: A lightweight but reliable order flow built with native PHP sessions and MySQL for order tracking.

• Order Management Dashboard: Store admins can add new products, update prices, fulfill orders, and manage inventory.

• Mobile-Friendly UI: Designed with pure HTML/CSS/JS to ensure fast loading even on low-end devices and slower networks common in local communities.

• Customer Contact & Delivery Flow: Integrated options for phone confirmations and flexible delivery scheduling to match local buying culture.

My Contribution
I developed the entire system end-to-end — from UI/UX design to backend architecture, database design, and admin dashboard. The result is a simple but highly functional marketplace tailored to a local Nigerian context.
